I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (CSW004784) and have been in practice since 2008. I provide individual and couples therapy services to adults in a warm and compassionate manner. I am welcoming and affirming regardless of race or ethnicity, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation and expression, physical ability, relationship structure, and religious affiliation.
My approach to psychotherapy is collaborative, viewing my client as an expert in their own life and as a partner in the therapeutic process. My goal is to help you determine the best solutions for you in your life. I emphasize each individual’s strengths and empower them to build their most healthy and authentic self.
I earned my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia and have provided therapeutic services in a variety of clinical treatment settings, including inpatient psychiatry/detox, residential substance abuse, and in private practice. I have advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which helps clients become aware of and change negative emotional patterns in their relationships.
Outside of work, I am a mom of two energetic boys and a very handsome French bulldog. I enjoy exercising, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
